Callers beware - especially if you go by “Weed Man”

When Zach Mazzola called Josh Greene’s cell phone on Monday night, he probably didn’t know that his name appeared as “Zack the Weed Man.” Or that the man who answered the phone was an Annapolis police officer.

See, Josh was stopped for a traffic violation and arrested after his license turned up suspended. After the arrest, his cell phone rang, and the caller’s name appeared on the phone as “Zack the Weed Man.”

The caller, Zach, (unknowingly) directed the officer to a gas station, where he was arrested and charged with drug possession - all thanks to his buddy’s failure to stop for a red light.

What’s the lesson here, I wonder?
