An Easton man is facing criminal charges for alleged posing as a police officer to gain sexual favors from prostitutes in Salisbury.
In one instance, police say 59-year-old Charles Kilmon kissed and touched one of the women without her consent.
He was charged last week with second-degree assault, fourth-degree sex offense and impersonating an officer. Investigators say the woman identified Kilmon in a photo line up.
According to police, the allegations first surfaced in interviews with prostitutes during the ongoing investigation into the death of Audrey Jurewicz. The Salisbury woman’s body was found July 28 in a wooded area near the Northwood Industrial Park. The (Salisbury) Daily Times reported this month that Jurewicz had been arrested for prostitution in June.
