Five gang members shot on West Baltimore street

In another instance of gang-related violence in West Baltimore, five men were shot last month by a pair who jumped out of a car, opened fire, and fled.

City police say the victims identified themselves as members of Treetop Piru, which is affiliated with the Bloods gangs. The five men had been walking near Edmondson and Claymont avenues.

No motive for the attack was known.
