Suspect in fatal house crash knows his way to the courthouse

August 27, 2008

A Parkton man arrested after police say he crashed the pickup truck that killed a woman sleeping in her own house has a long criminal record.

Aubrey C. Miller Jr., 30, is charged with theft, burglary and car theft, according to Baltimore County police. He’s accused of stealing a pickup that ran into Mary Patricia Sullivan’s northern Baltimore County home.

No one has been charged in Sullivan’s death yet. “Once we have all the facts, we’ll make a decision,” said Scott Shellenberger, the county’s top prosecutor.

Maryland records show Miller has been arrested in Baltimore City and Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Howard, and Prince George’s counties in 28 cases. He’s been convicted of theft five times, assault once and unauthorized removal of property twice.
