Utah baby shower becomes chaos

Blankets, bibs and bassinets gave way to violence and deadly weapons as a Salt Lake City baby shower got completely out of hand and police were called in to restore order.

A 40-year-old woman was taken into custody after allegedly attacking a fellow attendee with a shovel, whacking her with it and leaving her unconscious.

In addition, police arrested a 35-year-old man for pulling out a shotgun and threatening shower attendees who were armed only with diapers and rattles. The man was also charged with resisting arrest.
