Images released in councilman’s shooting probe

Baltimore police have released video images that they say may show one or more of the people who shot and killed City Councilman Kenneth Harris.

The images were captured at the Northwood Plaza shopping center, minutes before Harris was gunned down during an apparent robbery at a nightclub in the plaza last month.

Police say the images are being enhanced at a crime laboratory. Three men are visible and one appears to be holding a Halloween skeleton mask similar to a mask found at the shooting scene.

Harris was shot in the chest as he ran to his car during an ambush at the New Haven Lounge jazz club.

Police also say they believe the gun used in the shooting was used in a crime this year at a nearby gas station.
