PG County officer charged in bank burglary

Prince George’s County Police have charged a county police officer in a Temple Hills bank burglary. Officers were called to the SunTrust Bank in the 4600 block of Old Branch Avenue around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a man inside the bank. A suspect was found and arrested and police say their investigation led to burglary charges against Cpl. Maryland Occupational Safety and Health officials are investigating a man’s death at a Hagerstown ice cream plant. State labor department spokeswoman Dori Berman wouldn’t identify the man who fell to his death May 29 from a tanker truck.
