Waldorf man charged in toddler’s death

A Charles County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman says a Waldorf man wrestled a 3-year-old boy until the toddler “failed to wake up.” Twenty-five-year-old Myron Gibson was arrested Monday and charged with child abuse resulting in death. Jury selection has begun in Cumberland for the trial of a fifth former state correctional officer charged with assaulting inmates at the maximum-security North Branch Correctional Institution.
