Baltimore County police say a Rosedale man and woman threatened with eviction have been charged with killing their landlord in his bed. Police have charged 35-year-old Michael DiMattei and 35-year-old Erin Steffy with first-degree murder. DiMattei was arrested on Monday and Steffy was arrested on Tuesday. STUART, Fla. — A Florida man is facing charges after authorities say he was naked and covered in feces when he broke into a resident’s backyard and jumped into the pool. WESTERLY, R.I. — A pair of suspected bank robbers needed a getaway car, so they called a cab. Westerly police say the man and woman took a taxi Tuesday to the Washington Trust Bank, went inside and demanded money, saying they were armed with explosives. GREENBELT, Md. — A Bethesda teenager faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a destructive device. Nineteen-year-old Collin McKenzie-Gude was accused of stockpiling weapons and bomb-making material and producing fake government IDs. In exchange for his guilty plea on Wednesday, prosecutors are dropping two counts related to the IDs.
