Police have charged 35-year-old Michael DiMattei and 35-year-old Erin Steffy with first-degree murder. DiMattei was arrested on Monday and Steffy was arrested on Tuesday.

A relative of 74-year-old David Weeks found him dead Friday night in his home in the 1200 block of Hilldale Road. He was found lying in his bed, a pillow taped over his head and the sheets bloody.

The Medical Examiner ruled Weeks’ death a homicide with several injuries. Weeks was to go to court Friday on an eviction notice against DiMattei and Steffy.
